Residential Rates 2024

Residential Water

To determine your residential water rate, take your water base price ($40.86 per month) and add:

• $0.02521 per cf for the first 1000cf
• $0.03186 per cf for the next 500cf
• $0.03841 per cf for all additional
• Discounted rates available

Outside City - No Discounts

The City of Port Angeles also supplies water to limited areas outside the city limits. Other specific customers outside city limits have a different flat water rate. Please contact Customer Service at (360) 457-0411, or email utilities@cityofpa.us for more information.

For your outside city water rate, take your water base price ($61.29 per month) and add:

• $0.037815 per cf for the first 1000cf
• $0.047790 per cf for the next 500cf
• $0.057615 per cf for all additional

Residential Irrigation

To determine your irrigation rate, take your corresponding base price according to meter size and add $0.02479 per cf.

Residential Wastewater

To determine your residential wastewater (sewer) utility rate, take your corresponding base rate according to meter size and add the corresponding combined sewer overflow (CSO) base rate and add your usage in cubic feet (based on your water usage). Discounted rates available.

Stormwater

Stormwater utility charges are charged separately in your annual property tax statement from Clallam County.

The annual stormwater utility charge for each single-family and duplex residential property is $229.59. 

Residential Solid Waste

To determine your residential solid waste utility rate, take your corresponding base rate according to what you need picked up, then add the tax to find your total.

Residential Medic I

The rate for Medic I is $12.37 per unit.
