Sex Offender Information

Animal Control
The City of Port Angeles does not have an animal control officer. Limited animal control services are available from the:

Patrol officers will continue to respond to late night barking dog complaints and complaints that involve a direct threat to the safety of citizens.
Animal Licensing
All cats and dogs over the age of six months and within city limits must be licensed. Licenses can be purchased at the front counter of City Hall during regular business hours, or at the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society. Proof of rabies vaccination is required for licensing. Cost of licensing:
- Spayed or Neutered Dog Yearly License: $10
- Spayed or Neutered Dog Lifetime License: $75
- Intact Dog Yearly License: $35.00
- Spayed or Neutered Cat Yearly License: $8
- Spayed or Neutered Cat Lifetime License: $60
- Intact Cat Yearly License: $35
Alarm Systems
All business and residential emergency alarms and alarm systems must be on record with the Port Angeles Police Department. This record provides first-responders (Police, Fire, and Medical) with the information that is necessary for a safe and proper response subsequent to alarm activation.
